Musical storytelling by the ensemble “Russia” named after Lyudmila Zykina is a literary and musical performance, or a monologue performance by actor Vyacheslav Kornichenko.

Armed with his favourite book "Deniskin's stories", the actor, along with the musicians and the conductor, goes on stage to talk about his childhood. Vyacheslav Kornichenko takes young viewers to a world where there are still school skits, pioneer ties, collective trips to the circus, where the whole class plays hide-and-seek.

Reading funny, but at the same time touching and instructive "Deniskin's stories" with the musical accompaniment of the ensemble "Russia" named after Lyudmila Zykina, the artists are increasingly immersed in nostalgia for childhood. Step by step they imperceptibly enter into a game with the audience. In this mischievous performance, its performers reveal to their  audience the secret that adulthood is just another game that children play.

The play "If I were an adult" is a dialogue with the modern younger generation, an attempt to find common ground, common values and, perhaps, an attempt to make friends.
